Blogrush

Just found this cool new service called Blogrush that we will be trying out. It is a little widget you add to your blog that shows posts similar to yours across the web. Every time the widget is loaded (by a new visitor) your own blog and posts gains the opportunity to be shown across the web. It is a great idea, but lets see if it really works.

We will keep you posted as to the results!

Hey Zach.. i wanted to try out blugrush too.. but i googled around a bit and discovered that there are a LOT of people complaining that blogrush stole their credits and deleted their accounts for no reason… which is a bit concerning…

Anyways, just wondering if you tried it out and if so.. how it went…

BlogRush was designed to be incredibly viral and to provide its users with tremendous distribution leverage to receive exposure for their blog content (onto related content blogs) that they could never achieve on their own; at least without a massive advertising budget. Even if the uptake on BlogRush is significant, which it will be, in my experience the click-through rates on traffic exchanges are terrible.

Hi Guys, thanks for checking this out. I know this is terribly late Alex, but I had not heard of such problems regarding blogrush accounts.

Sarah, your comment is well noted. Our blog has received tremendous exposure (assuming the blogrush dashboard results are accurate), with about 6 thousand people viewing our posts through the widget in the last month. But, as you’ve pointed out we only actually received 2 visitors to our website.

I think we’ll be removing blogrush.

I had got a desire to start my company, however I did not have got enough of money to do it. Thank goodness my mate said to use the mortgage loans. Hence I received the student loan and made real my old dream.
