Atilus Wins Summit Award

Atilus is the proud recipient of a 2009 BIA Summit Award for our work on the CJLArchitects.com website. Representatives from Christopher J. Lee Architects approached Atilus to see if we’d like to place their web design in the running for one of the coveted summit awards a number of months ago. Christopher J. Lee is one of the most renowned and respected architects in Southwest Florida and has won a number of Summit awards in the past for excellence in the building industry, but had never won an award for their website.

Here is more information on the event and the awards (from the Builder’s Industry Association):

The Lee Building Industry Association’s Fourth Annual Summit Awards were held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point on September 18th.  The goal of this event is to celebrate success and professionalism within the commercial and remodeling industry.  Created by the Commercial Contractors Council of the Lee BIA, the Awards provide an opportunity to recognize excellence in this effort.  It allows the Council to give back and support its members.
       
The event resulted in great attendance, within the wonderful atmosphere of the Hyatt.  The MC for the event was Gary Aubuchon, Florida State Representative, District 74 and President of Aubuchon Homes.

We are happy that the website and Christopher J. Lee Architects, and Atilus were all recognized with an award for best website, but even more excited when Christopher J. Lee swept up almost all of the categories they entered into, winning 4 awards:

• Architectural Firm of the Year
• Best Non-Built Architectural Design: Cornea/Laser Center
• Best Architectural Project - Renovations: King’s Crown Assisted Living Facility at Shell Point
• Best Website: cjlarchictects.com

We were happy to have been invited to the gorgeous event, executed flawlessly by the nice BIA team, and receive an award alongside our longtime client and friends, Christopher J. Lee Architects!
