Unique ID Web Design has become Atilus

Atilus, formerly Unique ID Web Design, was started in late 2005 by Harry Casimir and Zach Katkin two FGCU students while both were still enrolled in college with full time jobs. “The company started slowly two years ago as a side project,” says founder and CEO Zach Katkin. “Harry and I were looking for an outlet for our passion – quality web development and Internet marketing, and through word-of-mouth the business started to grow. After little more than a year we couldn’t contain the work and we both left our jobs to start fulltime.”

Not much has changed; word-of-mouth continues to be the company’s growth catalyst marking 2007 as an incredible year of growth. Growing over 500% and diversifying its client base last year, Atilus now has clients established throughout the United States, from California to New York.

Because of this growth and because of future plans Unique ID Web Design has changed its name to Atilus.

“Atilus tested well among our clientele and was a welcomed change for existing business partners. We had an opportunity to shrink seven syllables down to three. And, most importantly Atilus is also Harry’s grandfather’s name. It is a win-win situation: make the name smaller and easier to remember and pay homage to someone that made this dream possible.”

Atilus will continue to provide the same dedication to quality web development and Internet marketing the company was originally founded on. Atilus will continue to conduct business by the same ethics and produce the same quality work that Unique ID Web Design has become synonymous with. Atilus will continue to help all local and national businesses set and reach their goals on the web comfortably and efficiently.
