Google at the pump?

So what do Googleâ„¢ and gas stations have in common? Well, nothing really, unless you are a gas station attendant and you are asked for directions to here, there, and places you have never heard of before. This tedious task (unless you do not mind the human interaction) of giving directions may soon become a thing of the past, introducing Googleâ„¢ at the gas pump!

Wow, that seems really interesting, buy why should I care?

If you own a business that has a physical address, you should. This just adds another reason why your business should be listed, and up-to-date, in Googleâ„¢ Maps. Some others include Googleâ„¢ 411 and Googleâ„¢ Maps for your Phone. You can also add Googleâ„¢ Maps for your Website.

    Wow, hadn’t heard of this yet. This seems like another great idea. The virtual Google keeps creeping into our physical lives in a very strategic way. I think this definitely underscores the importance of search engines and why businesses need to be thinking about them.
